STANDING ROOM
tunnel design and being able to stand from corner to corner and front to back
VISIBILITY
having large clear plastic windows and huge mesh, clear plastic or paneled doors.

NO RAIN FLY
not having to “cocoon” up your tent or keep another sheet of plastic over it in case it rains
INNER TENT SLEEPING ZONE

WHO MAKES THE BEST FAMILY GLAMPING TENTS?

We currently owned and have glamped for 1 to 6 days with tents from the three major manufacturers from the UK. Those include Kampa, Outwell and Vango. Although the standard design is tunnel with inflatable beams, each manufacturer offers slightly different feature, function and price point sets.

Don’t Go Camping Till You Learn About InTents Glamping™

Why This Information Is So Important To Anyone Who Camps

Our research, purchase and field (camp site) tested usage shows the tents available in the US – from the best retailers and distributors – are about 8 - 10 years behind (in technology, materials, design, feature/functions and configurations) what is being sold, used and enjoyed in other parts of the world.

Why is that? Because American campers are just now catching on to what’s available and demanding more and better equipment. The average camping time for Americans is 1 ¼ days, when most European, Australia and New Zealand campers will camp up to 2-3 weeks at a time. That means UK and European campers are must more demanding, discerning and innovation conscious than what is available in the US.

In addition, where too many Americans view camping equipment as an expense or spend to be used a few times, Europeans see camping tents and gear as long-term serious investments to stand decades of heavy use. They know if you buy good equipment you will use it more and you will enjoy it more – don’t buy cheap stuff.

The quality of tents available in the UK and Europe is extremely high. For example, where a name brand tent like Coleman might be able to handle strong wind and rain gusts of up to 30-40 miles, one of the tents we own from the UK has been tested to stand an astonishing 100 MPH. Does that mean its okay to camp in extreme gale force winds? No, it means that storms that are typically experienced by America campers will not bend, break, penetrate, or ruin high-quality tents.

Last year over 1.4 million Americans enjoyed camping for the first time. More women and girls are joining the ranks of being a camper and they aren’t sure what is available, what to buy and where to get it.

Our company mission and goals are to review, recommend and provide access to resources so that everyone – anywhere in the world – can be learning, purchasing and enjoying the best of the best tents, gear and equipment.
